Well I Suck

Well jeeze its almost been a year since I have posted anything. I'm sorry but my life just isn't all that exciting. All I do is work. really. no life here. But thats okay. I mean just kidding I kind of have a life? i dunno i'm going to try to be better at this. can I make it my new years resolution in September? haha that way i'll fall off my resolution in a few months and can start over in January. I don't want to post pictures right now. But lets see what has happened since last November when I posted last! Well I had just gotten my raise to Laura's assistant a few months earlier, We had our Christmas party! SO MUCH FUN. ummm I cut all my hair off, I turned 21! Whoo! I became single. and now all I do is work. I'm taking a Vacation to California in 2 weeks. I am so stinking excited! I am going with Laura to SD and LA areas. We will be there for a week and I am just so ready for a Vacation! I really need it. So I will fill all of you in on that. And I think im just going to start over. haha Pretend I just started my blog and we will go from there. haha okay well I'm out.

Hip Hip HOORAYYYY

What so i don't post for 3 months and everyone gets all touchy. ha ha sorry been busyyyy. First off I Moved into a new house :) love it! So much better and much more fun :) Second I got an extension on my Office job i do on Fridays! Yay for money!! whoo! 3rd the pool season is coming to an end. Last day for that is the saturday after Thanksgiving. Its getting pretty darn cold though so we will see how the next 2 weeks go! 4th I've had 2 weddings, which inclue the bachelorette parties, bridal showers, dinners, luncheons, and all the fun stuff :) ummm 5th i have a butt load of pictures. 2 weddings and then just random good times. ha ha i actually dont' have the actual wedding pictures yet but as soon as i get them i will try to post them! I just have the few that i took on my camera. Okay so lets get to adding pictures! Oh yah **RANDOM** i sliced my foot open on the glass table the other day. OUCH!! ugh it hurt so bad and i just bumped my foot and it made me think of it. yah feel sorry for me. ha ha just kidding. but really it hurt.

wednesday is the new friday.

1. The very best thing about the summer is well when i was younger it was the fact that there was no school and i could just do whatever. Now its the days where i make my best money :)

1. One song that always takes me back to my youth is anything to do with Nsync. LOVED them.

2. My first concert ever was Nsync :) ha!

3. If I could create my dream music festival I'd want these bands to be there: oh wow. umm The Used. All Time Low. Meg & Dia. Automatic Love Letter. Taking Back Sunday. Jack Johnson. Ben Folds. Kenny Chesney. Tim Mcgraw. (yes i know that is a wide variety of musicians :) ) i could really go on for a long time.

5. The best concert I've ever been to was wow. The used. probably. such a fun concert. But i loved parts of all of them.

Shoes.

So last night me and Coty went over to his Aunt Tomi's house. and for those of you who don't know this, Tomi was married to James Brown, so James Brown was Coty's uncle. :) ha! anyways tomi was going through some stuff and asked me to come in the room. So i go in there and she was like what shoe size are you? I told her a 9 or 9.5 depends on the shoe and she smiled and said good. She told me to go through her shoes and if I ever want to borrow any of them just feel free to ask. Seriously she had trunks and trunks full of shoes. I was like a little kid in a candy store trying them all on! It was awesome. I seriously thought i had alot of shoes.....not even close! She also said the same about clothes and purses and stuff. I was pretty happy. I told her whenever i want to go shopping i'll just have to come over to her house. :) So there is my update.

I just liked this picture the best! ha! ohhhh and while we were going through shoes and all that she was playing some old tapes that she found and it was like her and James Brown singing stuff that no one has ever heard. I felt privledged...(is that how you spell that??) Okay now im done.

Movie. Update. Work. Trip.

So last night, Me, Coty, & our friend Michael went and saw the movie Date Night. Im gonna have to say it was super good. and funny. I love Steve Carell and Tina Fey. It was good :) i recomend it.

Another little update, work is good. Making good money the past few days. and i am getting super tan. Whoo! only thing, got crazy tan lines.

Hopefully i'll be able to make a trip back home to Hurricane soon. I miss it there and all my friends and family. But i'll only be able to do that if the weather is bad this week like it says its going to be. If it stays good then i'll have to work and won't make it up. So if you want me to come you know what to do.......pray it rains ;) ha!

Update time! :)

Wow, so its kinda sad that i don't even know where to start. I've gotten a new job! A Massage Job! FINALLY!! YAY! I work out at some of the hotels on the strip out at the pools. So im getting super tan. Actually the other day Coty looked at me and he was like you look orange Karli....i was just kinda like okay weirdo. But today i looked in the mirror and i do! I look like i've been spray tanning!! ha! except till you look at my crazy tan lines! Weird Vegas sun turns my skin orange. I probably look like an oompa loompa or something like that! Okay so about my new job im working at the MGM Grand, Luxor, and Hilton. We are suposed to be getting a few more properties here in the next few months! So im very excited for that! With my job its either a good day or a bad day. Ha i don't get paid to just be there. Its comission only... :/ so some days im super happy when i leave and other days......not so much. Ive had some awesome days lately so im pretty happy about that. But i have to take a CEU Class (continuing ed. class) so i gotta pay for that. DANG. i did all that this morning and i think i felt my bank account empty. ha! Alright so what else can i can talk about. I went to Hawaii about a month ago I'll post some pictures from that once im done with this writing. Most of you know all about that trip. Highlight was **drum roll please** me throwing up all over the drunk man next to me! ha! I went on a helicopter tour of the island and i couldn't handle the motion of it. oh well. it was hilarious. Anyways i got super burned from the trip too! Like i looked like a lobster. Never in my life had i been that red. Anyways i started work about a week after my new job and it was a good break for my body to heal before starting work out in the sun! I've been to Alamo a few times lately for Coty's friends homecomings. They have all done a good job and i think he only has a few more left that are out. I told him yesterday he better get ready to go to Hurricane for all my friends cause they are starting to all come home in the next few months here! CRAZY!! I really can't believe how soon everyone is coming home, seriously feels like they just left. Guess i have been down here for almost TWO YEARS! wow. So i've been trying to be crafty lately....or i guess with one project and its really not that crafty. just for me! I stained my magnet board. Or i guess i need to do it again cause its not how i want it yet but its a start! My room needs color and decorations! ha anyone wanna decorate it for me? Thanks. Ummm ohhh Coty FINALLY bought a car! I LOVE it. He bought an Infiniti g35. Its the two door coupe Sports Car. I love riding around in it. and i love that i don't have to drive that much anymore! I am a tad bit sad though, he did buy my car that i was saving up for. But hey now i don't have to buy it. I'll just use his......just as soon as i master the art of driving a clutch. I SUCK! He tried to teach me one time up in Alamo, lets just say it wasn't a success. Okay so i think that is enough rambling for one post. I will try not to wait two months to blog again. I seriously have been super busy. So Kels, Shebs, Jo && D BE HAPPY AND LEAVE ME ALONE ABOUT THIS! :)

So after the UNLV boys basketball game on Saturday we were stuck in traffic for what seemed like FOREVER! The Thomas & Mack was sold out and there were so many people there. So i talked Coty into taking some pictures to pass the time. He wasn't having to much fun at first but i think he got the hang out it after a while. Or he just wanted me to put the camera away so he cooperated. ha ha Anyways there is my little update :) Going to another game tomorrow! whoo!

Surprise Surprise!!

So today when I was at work I got a text from some random number with this and a message saying "Your brother say hi"


I was seriously so excited! I got a huge smile on my face and sent a picture back with me doing that same thing :) gotta love that twin vibe ;) ha ha I really miss Kason so this post is dedicated to him!! I wish that i had more pictures of us but i only have whats on my phone, which isn't a lot. So i hope you enjoy these!!

Just a little update.

I guess i haven't been keeping up with my blogging. So here is goes, and i might add this hurts to type, i sliced open my finger last night and it hurts to push down. danng it!

So lets see what is new, I am going to Hawaii!! Yay!! For one week with my parents, and then Kierston and her family. I am so excited i haven't been since my freshman year when Kierston and Kyle got married there. Im not going until March 1st so i have a month, but i seriously can not wait. Oh and im flying by myself....The flight that i found was $150 dollars cheaper. And i like the times better! I am flying out of Vegas at 6:45 and staying in Pheonix for a few hours and then getting to Kawaii at 3:40 their time. And then the returning flight i am leaving at 11 hawaii time and getting to Pheonix at 8:30 and then getting to vegas at 8:45 (the hour difference) I'm pretty excited about not having to wait in the airport on the way home. So im hoping to come home with a nice tan and a few book read :)

Other news, I went to Alamo this weekend for Coty's friends homecoming. He had a really nice talk. And i went to all 3 hours of church there and i really enjoyed all the lessons. I need to get in the habit of going to all 3 hours again. You learn so much and it really is good. Umm me and my friend Jadey had some good heart to heart talks yesterday. So thats always good to be able to talk to someone. ha

Oh i went to the UNLV vs. Air Force game last Tuesday. It was a black out game and it was good. UNLV won of course, Air Force isn't that good....But they play BYU this Saturday and im excited for that game. I need to take new pictures, but im not very good at it.

Coty's little sister wants to come stay at my house this weekend with me so im gonna have a girls night with her. I think we are gonna go Ice Skating (that part won't be a girls night i'll have Coty come, ha ha) but that should be interesting considering i've never gone Ice Skating before. Im asuming i'll have a very sore butt when i leave there.

Ohhh yah. Coty's birthday is on Valentines day but i ordered his present online and it got here way faster than i thought it would so i just decided to give it to him cause i was so excited. Ha it was only 2.5 weeks early, i think i'll have to get him another present to give him on his actual birthday so he has something to open but we'll see. Anyways I got him a Wireless Headset for work, and its really nice :) he was so happy when he got it, and that makes getting him present even more fun :)

Ivy Christmas Party

So this was in like the begging of December, but we just got the pictures for it. So i thought that i would add a post :)

It was at the Anthem Country Club, which is super nice and we had really good food. Then they passed out awards and prizes. I won a $100 dollar Amex card in the raffel. (i think thats how you spell that) Anyways after the prizes there was a dance party!! It was a lot of fun :) Apparently Coty has this hidden talent for dancing. He was the life of the party once that started. It was alot of fun to watch everyone, especially the ones who had a little bit to much to drink ;)
